Privacy policy

What data we handle, why, and how to exercise your rights.

Who we are

Nautsy.com, Tarragona (Spain), is responsible for the personal data collected on this site. Contact: contact form.

Data we handle

  • Contact and add forms: facility name, link, message and, if you give it, your email. Purpose: replying to you and handling the addition, correction or removal.
  • Contributions without sign-up (badges, confirmations, corrections, prices, questions): what you send and a one-way encrypted code derived from your IP address and browser, with a key that changes every year. We don't store your IP. Purpose: preventing duplicate votes and abuse.
  • Location: only if you press «Use my location»; it is used in your browser to sort by distance and is never sent or stored.
  • Saved facilities and checklists: in your browser's local storage; they never leave your device.

Business data

Listings contain public contact details of businesses taken from public sources (Google Maps and their websites). If you own a business and want to correct or remove its listing, use the removal form.

Sharing and retention

We don't sell your data. Our hosting provider stores the site and the contributions database; Google (Analytics and AdSense) receives data only as described on the cookies page. Messages are kept for up to 2 years; rejected contributions are deleted periodically.

Legal basis

We process data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679), as the site is operated from Spain: replying to your messages and handling additions or removals (your request), and preventing abuse of contributions and measuring the site (legitimate interest). Measurement and personalized ads only run if you accept them in the cookie notice (consent), which you can withdraw at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, from the contact form, saying which data and how to reach you. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell personal information.
